The Symphony of Peace Prayers in Quezon City, Philippines was held at PhilDHRRA Partnership Center, 59 C. Salvador St., Varsity Hills last May 14, 2017. The event was made possible by the combined efforts of the Mandala Peace Arts Initiative (MPAI) and its partner in mission, the Peace Makers Circle Foundation (PMCF). The event was hosted by MPAI core group member Gabriel David A. Medina in behalf of Mario “Toots” Fungo who could not make it this year because of liver problems but he was with us in spirit. More or less we have 20 participants and guests in 6 different religions.
While waiting for guests to come and since it was also Mother's day, Gabriel or "Gabby" gave a mandala writing workshop and also shared about the Soul of Women campaign. After that, a short video about the SOPP was shown and refreshments were also made available.
